LHDN e-Invoice: Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme (SVDP)
- Purpose: Lets you submit an e-Invoice you should have sent earlier under LHDN's Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme, as version 1.3 instead of 1.1. You choose to use it. Financio does not check whether you qualify.
- Availability: Financio Accounting, Malaysia, for documents sent to LHDN.
What's new
- SVDP checkbox: New checkbox, Submit under the Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme (SVDP), below the Send to LHDN toggle on sales Invoices, Credit Notes and Debit Notes, and purchase Bills, Credit Notes and Debit Notes. On the Consolidated E-Invoice record it sits above the Items. It is unticked every time.
- Confirmation window: Saving a document with SVDP ticked asks you to confirm before it is sent. A normal submission (version 1.1) has no window, as before.
- Do not show this confirmation again: Tick this in the window, then click Yes, to stop the window for your later SVDP submissions. The document is still sent as version 1.3.
- SVDP badge: A blue SVDP badge shows beside the LHDN status on the document, and in the LHDN Status column of the Sales, Purchases and Consolidated E-Invoice lists, once a document has been sent as SVDP. It shows in every status. There is no new column.
- Greyed checkbox after sending: The SVDP checkbox stays on a sent document, greyed out, showing the version that went. It cannot be changed.
- Printed version: Print LHDN e-Invoice shows 1.3 in its e-Invoice version field for an SVDP document.
Consolidated e-Invoice
- Month selector: The Consolidate window now picks a single calendar month instead of a From and To date.
- Records above RM10,000: No longer listed. Each must be sent as its own e-Invoice.
- Rules box: A How consolidation works box above the list states the rules: one calendar month and up to 100 records per consolidated e-Invoice, records above RM10,000 sent on their own, and submission within 7 days of month end. If you submit later than that, tick SVDP on the record before saving.
Good to know
- The checkbox shows only when Send to LHDN is on. On purchase documents, turn Self-Billed on first. It is not available on a Proforma. The Consolidated E-Invoice record has no Send to LHDN toggle, so it always shows the checkbox.
- On a Draft, the tick is kept, and the submission happens when you approve the Draft.
- If LHDN marks a document Invalid, the reason is shown in the LHDN Status window, word for word.
