This article will guide you on how to effectively set up the Job Tagging feature in Financio, which has proven beneficial for many of our users.
1. Access the Control Panel:

Navigate to the top menu and click on "Control Panel" as highlighted in the image.

Navigate to Job Tagging:
- In the dropdown menu, hover over "Accounting" or scroll down, then click on "Job Tagging" as highlighted in the image.
Add a New Job:

Click the "Add New" button located on the left side of the screen, as highlighted in the image.

Enter Job Details:
-
A "New Job" window will appear where you need to enter the following details:

Job No: Assign a unique number to the job.
-
Name: Provide a job name (e.g., "Cafe Ali").

Description: Add details about the job (e.g., "Food and drink").
-
Percent Complete (%): Indicate the job's current progress (e.g., 50%).
-
Manager: Assign a person responsible for the job.
-
Start Date & Due Date: Set the job’s timeline.
-
Is sub-job?: Check this box if the job is a sub-job under a parent job.
-
Parent Job: If applicable, select the parent job from the dropdown list.

Save the Job:
After filling in all the details, click the "Save" button at the bottom-right corner.
Confirming Job Tagging Setup in Financio
Once set up, your Job Tagging page will display the job details in a table format as shown in the image. You will see columns such as:

Job No. (e.g., 100)

Parent Job No. (if applicable)

Name (e.g., Cafe Ali)
-
Description (e.g., Food and drink)
-
Percent Completed (e.g., 50.0000)
-
Manager (e.g., Pak Ali)
-
Status (Active or Inactive checkbox)

Action (View/Edit options)
Next Steps:

Click "View" under the Action column to check or modify job details.

Click "Add New" to create another job.

Use the search bar to find specific jobs.
Actions Available in "View Job" Mode:
Edit Job Details:
You can modify fields such as:Edit Job Details:
- Job Name
- Description
- Percent Completed (%)
- Manager
- Start Date & Due Date
- Is sub-job? and Parent Job selection
Click "Save" to update the changes.
Deactivate the Job:
Click the "Deactivate" button to disable the job.
This will mark the job as inactive, but it won’t be deleted.
Additional Options in the Job Tagging Page
On the Job Tagging page, you can click the dropdown arrow next to "View" under the Action column for more options:

View/Edit: Open the job details to modify or update information.

Duplicate: Create a copy of the selected job.

Deactivate: Disable the job without deleting it.

Report: Generate reports related to the job, including:

Job Activity

Job Income Statement

Job List

Customizing Displayed Columns with Column Chooser
The Column Chooser feature at the top right corner allows you to customize the displayed columns in the Job Tagging page.
How It Works:

Click on the Column Chooser icon.

A dropdown will appear with a search bar and a list of columns.

Tick or untick the checkboxes to show or hide columns as needed.
The table will update based on your selection, helping you display only the relevant job details for better usability.
