General Functionality

• Purpose: The dashboard provides real-time insights into company sales and purchase data, visualizing trends, comparing entities, and offering detailed analysis.
• Availability: Exclusively for Singapore-based companies, supporting both Essentials and Premier customers.

Filters

• Time Period: Selectable intervals include 7 days, 30 days, 6 months, and 12 months.
• Type Filter: Options include Sales, Purchases, or "Select All."
• Top 5 Entities: Focus on top 5 customers (for Sales) or suppliers (for Purchases).
  • Selecting "Select All" disables the "Top 5 Entities" filter as it includes both Sales and Purchases data.

Graphs and Interactivity

• Line Graph: Displays trends over time for up to 5 entities. Users can hover over data points for detailed information.
• Donut Chart: Compares categories with clickable segments for drilling into specific data.

Real-Time Updates

• The dashboard dynamically updates in real time when filters are applied or graphs are interacted with.

Data Handling

Currency Conversion: Transactions are converted into the home currency using exchange rates from the Master Data (Currencies page).

Transaction Inclusion: Only approved transactions are analyzed:

• • Sales: Net of Sales Invoices and Credit Notes.
  • Purchases: Net of Bills and Debit Notes.

Default and Filter Behavior

No Filters Applied:

• • Defaults to the last 7 days if data is available; otherwise, displays "NO DATA."
  • Type defaults to both Sales and Purchases, and entity-specific data is not shown.

Time Period Only:

• • If no Type is selected, "Top 5 Entities" is disabled.
  • Displays both Sales and Purchases data filtered by the selected time period.

Time Period + Type:

• • Displays data filtered by both selections.
  • "Top 5 Entities" remains disabled unless explicitly chosen.

Time Period + Type + Top 5 Entities:

• • Graphs show data filtered by all selections.
  • Specific entities can be highlighted if selected within the "Top 5 Entities" filter.

Interactive Features

• Hover Action: Highlights entities and shows detailed data for specific points.
• Click Action: Drills down into detailed data for the selected entity while maintaining applied filters.

Graph Colors and Tie Handling

Color Rules:

Type Filter:

• • Sales: Purple
  • Purchases: Turquoise

Top 5 Entities:

• • No. 1: Turquoise
  • No. 2: Purple
  • No. 3: Blue
  • No. 4: Orange
  • No. 5: Yellow

Ties in Top 5 Entities:

• • When entities tie, the first five are displayed alphabetically.
  • Example: If D, E, and F tie for 4th place, only D and E appear.
