By default, after subscribed a new company account, Financio Payroll system will provide standard list of national public holiday based on user selected country.
Public holidays in Malaysia are governed by various state and federal laws.
In order to setup a complete public holiday for your company, you can to go to Company Setup, select Holiday tab, and click Add to add the gazette public holidays based on the company located state and company policy.
You can then define the holiday details in the Add Holiday screen, see below:
Holiday calendar is important in processing the overtime and leave maintenance. It will impact the overtime payment, leave applicable as well as paid and unpaid leave calculations.
If your company policy is to grant a replacement leave for holiday that falls on Saturday, (which is an Off Day), the particular holiday needs to be switch on to Active status.
With this setting, system able to auto set the next available work day (Monday) to a non-working day.
If your company policy is not to grant a replacement for the above scenario, you need to switch off the Active status as below:
