To ensure the Race, Religion and Bank information can be migrate correctly to Financio Payroll, before user run the Payroll Migration Tool, user required to update the Race and Bank List under General Setup.
(A) Race Mapping (Malaysia & Singapore)
For Race information, you need to update the Race Description (Setup > General Setup > Race) to be same with the below Race code available in Financio Payroll for ABSS Payroll Migration Tool mapping purpose.
If you are using the default code from ABSS payroll, you are required to update description as below:
- CHI – from “Cina” to “Chinese”
- IND – from “India” to “Indian”
- MLY – from “Melayu” to “Malay”
After change:
Note: For other Race type such as Bumiputera Sarawak, Bumiputera Sabah, Serani which is not available in Financio Payroll, the Payroll Migration Tool will map these values to “Other”.
(B) Religion Mapping (Malaysia & Singapore)
For Religion information, you need to update the Religion Description (Setup > General Setup > Religion) to be same with the below Religion code available in Financio Payroll for Payroll Migration Tool mapping purpose.
If you are using the default code from ABSS payroll, you are required to update description as below:
- BUDD – from “Buddhist” to “Buddhism”
- CHRIS – from “Christian” to “Christianity”
- HIND – from “Hindu” to “Hinduism”
After Change:
Note: For other Religion types such as Atheist, None and Animism which is not available in Financio Payroll, the Payroll Migration Tool will map these values to “Other”.
(C) Bank Swift Code Mapping (Malaysia & Singapore)
To ensure the accurate bank detail information being migrated to Financio Payroll, you need to update the bank description (Setup > General Setup > Bank) with the relevant swift code and branch code available in Financio Payroll for all the banks that need to be migrated over.
Swift code for Singapore: Swift Code for Singapore.pdf
For Singapore, the format required for the description field:
[Bank Swift Code] for bank Swift code
<Branch Code> for branch code
Ensure you enter the information with the correct [ ], < > symbol for payroll migration tool to recognize the right information.
Example:
Swift code for Malaysia : Swift Code for Malaysia.pdf
In Malaysia, all bank branch has it’s own unique swift code thus only bank code is required.
The format to be updated in the Description field: [Bank Swift Code]
