To sync your UOB account balance in Financio, you may perform so through the following steps:
- Login to Financio.
- Route to Control Panel > Accounting > Balance Sheet Accounts.
- Under “Bank/ Cash Equivalents” section:
- Route to the preferred account that you wish to sync the account balance.
- Click on the dropdown icon, select “Reconcile” option.
- You will be navigated to “Reconcile – <Selected Bank Account>” screen. In this case is “Reconcile – Bank Account #2 (SGD)” screen. Click on the “Request Live Account Balance” button to request live account balance for the first time.
- You will be redirected to the UOB SME website to login to perform OAuth i.e. user needs to grant permission to UOB to share the account balance and transaction history with Financio.
- Enter the token response as part of the 2FA (2 Factor Authentication). *Note: This step is not required if you have “Infinity Secure”.
- Select the preferred account for which you wish the account balance and transaction history to be retrieved from Financio. After selecting the account, click on the “Allow access” button.
- Upon successfully allowing access in the previous steps (4-6), your available bank balance will be reflected in “Available Bank Balance” field.

- Upon successfully allowing the relevant access, “Request Bank Feed” button and “Refresh Live Account Balance” button will be shown. Which means, after the OAuth gets expired, these buttons will not be visible.

- For security purposes, user will need to perform OAuth again after 90 days, as each OAuth is only valid for 90d from the last active session in the Reconciliation page.

- “Request Live Account Balance” button is only visible upon first time requesting live account balance. Which means, after the OAuth gets expired, the “Request Live Account Balance” button will be visible again for user to perform OAuth.

- When OAuth gets expired, the available bank balance that was successfully retrieved previously will no longer be shown. The available bank balance will be shown as “0.00” instead.

- During the OAuth’s validity period, user can refresh their live account balance by clicking on the “Refresh Live Account Balance” button.
- During the OAuth’s validity period, user can refresh their live account balance by clicking on the “Refresh Live Account Balance” button.
