Getting Started with RinggitPay on Financio

RinggitPay is a Malaysian payment gateway that lets your customers pay invoices online via FPX Online Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or e-Wallet. Once connected, a "Pay Now via RinggitPay" button is automatically embedded in invoices you send to customers.
Before You Begin
Make sure the following is in place before registering:
- Your Business Profile is complete — Company Name, Registration Number, Email, and Contact Person are required.
- You have Admin access to Financio.
Step 1: Find RinggitPay in Integrated Apps
Go to Control Panel → Integrated Apps. Scroll down to find the RinggitPay tile and click Register.
Integrated Apps page — locate the RinggitPay tile at the bottom and click Register.
Step 2: Submit Your Registration
A popup will appear pre-filled with your Business Profile details (read-only). To proceed:
- Review your company name.
- Read the terms of contract via the link provided.
- Tick the consent checkbox.
- Click Submit. The button is disabled until the checkbox is ticked.

After submitting, a green toast message will appear confirming your application has been sent.

Step 3: Track Your Application Status
RinggitPay reviews applications within 2–3 working days. Your status on the Integrated Apps tile will update automatically at each stage. You will also receive in-app notifications at each step.

|---|---|
| Pending RP Registration | Application submitted. Awaiting RinggitPay review. |
| Processing | Application is being reviewed by RinggitPay's back-office team. |
| Pending RM2.00 Test | Approved. You must complete a RM2.00 test payment to activate. |
| Connected | Fully active. You can now accept payments via RinggitPay. |
| Rejected | Application was not approved. Check your registered email for details. |
Pending RP Registration
Status: Pending RP Registration — application is with RinggitPay.
Processing
Status: Processing — RinggitPay is reviewing your application.
In-App Notifications
You will receive notifications in your Financio notification bell at each key step.
Notification: Application submitted successfully.
Step 4: Complete the RM2.00 Test Payment
When your status changes to Pending RM2.00 Test, you will receive a notification prompting you to complete a RM2.00 test transaction. This is required by RinggitPay to verify and activate your account.
Status: Pending RM2.00 Test — complete the test payment to activate.
Notification: Prompting you to complete the RM2.00 test transaction.
Once the test payment is successful, you will receive an approval notification and your status will change to Connected.
Notification: Integration approved — proceed to the Integrated Apps page.
Step 5: Connected — You're All Set
Your RinggitPay tile will now show Connected with three action buttons: Configuration, Transactions, and Disconnect.
Status: Connected — RinggitPay is active on your account.
If Your Application Is Rejected
If RinggitPay does not approve your application, the status will show Rejected and you will receive a notification to check your registered email for the reason.
Status: Rejected — check your email for details from RinggitPay.
If RinggitPay subsequently approves your appeal, you will receive a notification and the Register button will reappear so you can resubmit.
Notification: Appeal approved — you can register again from the Integrated Apps page.
Register button reappears — follow the same registration steps to reapply.
Disconnecting RinggitPay
To disconnect, click the Disconnect button on the RinggitPay tile (visible when status is Connected).
Click Disconnect on the RinggitPay tile.

If the disconnection is successful, a green confirmation message will appear.
Success: RinggitPay integration disconnected.
If the disconnection fails, an error message will appear and no changes will be made — RinggitPay remains connected.
Error: Unable to disconnect. Try again later.
Reconnecting After Disconnect
- If RinggitPay has confirmed termination, the tile will show the Register button — follow the standard registration steps above.
- If termination is still being processed, click Reconnect to re-enable the integration. To cancel a termination request, contact RinggitPay directly.
After a confirmed termination, the Register button reappears for a fresh registration.
