SST Compliance Display exchange rate on quotations and invoices. Requirement from Royal Malaysian Customs: “Any amount referred to in a currency other than the ringgit shall also expressed in ringgit at the selling rate of exchange prevailing in Malaysia at the time of the taxable service is provided.” |
When issuing a quotation/invoice in foreign currency, the transaction exchange rate will be displayed on the issued document when 'Display in Home Currency is Toggled'.

Improved Reconciliation Interface & Report

1. Closing Date Filter Transactions only appear when it falls within the Closing Date.
2. Added Bank Balance as off Field 'Bank Balance as of' is a newly added field for users to input the Bank Balance as of the Closing Date set. Notes:
The Bank Balance as of has to match with both the Bank New Closing Balance and Financio New Closing Balance before being able to reconcile. 3. Add Sales & Purchase Payments Users now have the option to add sales and purchase payments directly from the reconciliation page simply by clicking the '+' icon on the unmatched bank feed interface. From here, users have the option to add a sales/purchase payment to knock-off invoices/bills respectively. 4. Improved Reporting Reconciliation report now shows the total reconciled amount for the given closing period. Opening Balance + Reconciled Amount = New Closing Balance 5. Option to Import Statement for Integrated Users Integrated users now have the option to import statements to manually reconcile previous transactions prior to activating their integration with the banks. 6. Improved way or recording deposits paid & received |
Sales & Purchase Payments automatically recorded as a deposit under the following conditions:
Note: A deposit received and deposit paid account is automatically created for all users under current liabilities & current assets respectively. Example: RM500 payment is received and applied on a proforma invoice (INV1007). The journal will be recorded as follows: Upon approval of an Invoice, Financio will automatically reverse the deposit amount for you. Improved management of advance payments received |
All payments with outstanding amounts will now be displayed when a user is adding a payment to an invoice. Note: Only outstanding payments linked to the selected customer will be displayed |

Added Period Lock |
To prevent and mitigate risk of other users from making changes to transactions from previously closed periods, we've added the ability for Admin Users to lock a particular period from further changes. This can be done via Control Panel > Business Settings > General Changes made to the Period Lock will also be recorded in the Audit Trail for further security. |

Auto Log Out Feature

1. Disabled multiple concurrent login sessions In efforts of further enhancing account security, Financio has disabled multiple concurrent login sessions. If two users try to login using the same credentials, the former logged in user will be kicked from the session. 2. Auto Log Out Users will now be automatically kicked from a session if idle for 1 hour or when browser is closed. Nevertheless, users may opt to remain signed-in by selecting 'Keep me signed in' on the login page. |
Other tweaks:
- Added Subscription Center to the main menu for easier access.
- Recurring invoices now shows source of original invoice.
