With the DBS direct bank feed feature activated, all transactions in and out of your DBS current account that are usually reflected in your bank statements will automatically be populated in your Financio account [9.00 a.m. daily]!
This saves you time from having to retrieve your bank statement, have it converted into a Financio-friendly format to be uploaded into our system to be reconciled.
Here, I'll show you how to leverage this feature.

Go to over to Control Panel and select Accounts.
Click on the Reconcile button found on the right side of the account you'd like to reconcile.
On the Reconcile page, select the Closing date, that you would like to retrieve transactions and the transactions will automatically be populated and reflected on the left column.
Our system also helps pre-match transactions based on the reference details and amount to save you even more time! You'll only be required to verify if items have been matched accurately and also to help identify additional unmatched transactions.
Once the closing balance for both the Bank and Financio are balanced. Click on Reconcile.
Walla! now, how easy was that.
- What do I do if I find a transaction in my bank that does not match any transaction in the Financio column?
Response: This normally indicates that the particular transaction had been left out and it needs to be created. Simply click 'New Transaction' and input the information accordingly to be reconciled. If it is an unrecorded payment for an invoice/bill, you'll be required to head over to the Sales & Purchase module to raise those payments accordingly.
- Help! My transactions are not reflected in my bank column.
Response: Calm down. First head over to control panel > integrated app and check to see if your app has been disconnected. If disconnected, simply have it re-connected.
For first time provisioning: Do note that it will take up to 24 hours for your first feed to be sync.
For Existing Connection: Simply hit the 'Request bank feed' button found on the reconcile page. Which will prompt our servers to pull in the latest transactions.
